Withdrawn Standards

Withdrawn Standards are NOT CURRENT so should not normally be used.

Our BSI archive maintains an archive which contains a comprehensive collection of all withdrawn British Standards.

The archive includes withdrawn standards, dating from 1903, from both the general and special (e.g. marine and aerospace) series, codes of practice, catalogues of BSI publications and superseded editions of other BSI publications. There is also a collection of material of historical interest relating to the organisation, such as the Royal Charter, Annual Reports and minutes of the main committee meetings of the British Engineering Standards Association, forerunner of the British Standards Institution.

Copies of withdrawn standards are available for sale on this website. You can use our online search tool in order to identify relevant withdrawn standards in the British Standards' collection.
